From 30 April to 4 May the nautical sector was again present in Palma de Mallorca in the now traditional Palma Boat Show. The 32nd edition of the boat show was attended by the President and the CEO of Barcelona Nautical Cluster, Toni Tió and Alejo Trullás respectively, as well as several partners and members of the organisation, such as Marina Barcelona 92 Solé Diesel, Evolution Yacht Barcelona, Smart Sea, Vilanova Marina or Marina Port Vell, among others.
More than 40.000 visitors passed through the Palma International Boat Show during the five days it lasted, surpassing the figure for last year. There were record numbers of visitors and participants, since the event also broke records in the number of professional representatives, bringing together more than 200 exhibitors and around 180 boats.
A more "professional" show
The presence of more exhibitors than ever before has affected the type of business activities developed at the event. The show served not only for companies to present their latest developments to the key players in the sector but also allowed them to formalise contacts with each other. The organisers all agreed that the profile of visitors this year was more "professional" than in previous years.
