This year, Dubai was once again the nautical capital of the Persian Gulf with the holding of the 23rd Dubai International Boat Show from 3 to 7 March. The event was attended by Toni Tió and Alejo Trullás, President and CEO of Barcelona Nautical Cluster.
During their time in the UAE, the representatives of the Cluster Nautical were able to hold several meetings with the Maritime Authority of Dubai and those in charge of Dubai World Trade Center, to promote the Barcelona brand and the city's nautical environment internationally.
The Dubai Boat Show 2015 confirmed the growing demand for small and medium-sized boats. The event maintained its international character with the presence of more than 800 companies from 54 different countries. It was an excellent opportunity to build new business contacts with relevant players in the sector. Among the companies that participated in the event were Jotun and Evolution Yachts Agents, both members of the Barcelona Nautical Cluster.
