The Board of Directors of Barcelona Clúster Nàutic has met with the new president of the Port of Barcelona, Lluís Salvadó. The meeting served to present the entity as well as the companies and institutions that make up the Board and its ecosystem of more than 80 members.
The institution and the entity have reviewed their projects and existing lines of collaboration, with a view to 2024 with the celebration of the America's Cup. They have agreed to prioritize work around decarbonisation and the circular economy in the nautical world, education and training to cover the sector's job profiles and the internationalization of the nautical world.
Both the Port and the Cluster have decided to continue collaborating and strengthening the sector.
